Christina Misfeldt was the third child, and first daughter, born to Ernest and Margaret Lensch Misfeldt and the last of their children to be born in Germany before they emigrated to the United States and settled in Wisconsin.  Christina was born in November of either 1876 or 1878.

She married William Grandmaitre, a cement finisher, and they lived in the 2nd ward of St. Paul, Minnesota, according to the 1920 U.S. Census.

Christina and William had three children:

• Raleigh
• Delmar
• Annie
