Christian “Chris” Misfeldt was the first-born child and first son born to Ernest and Margaret Lensch Misfeldt, and was born in Germany.  Chris was born July 2, 1873 and came to the United States with his parents.

Chris met Ella Sweeney and they were married on October 8, 1902 at Ritual of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.  William Glynn and Mabel Sweeney were witnesses to the ceremony pronounced by the Reverend L. Schmidtke.
