Hubbard Misfeldt. \u00a0He was born January 20, 1916 at Thorp in Clark County, Wisconsin. \u00a0He graduated from Thorp High School in 1934 and always loved the Misfeldt family tradition of being involved in farming.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/misfeldt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Clyde-in-uniform.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-168\" src=\"https:\/\/misfeldt.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Clyde-in-uniform-206x300.jpg\" alt=\"Clyde served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as an Electrician's Mate, 2nd Class.\" width=\"118\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Clyde married Louise Marie Herman on July 16, 1940. \u00a0He would later serve in the United States Navy during World War Two, earning an honorable discharge as an Electrician&#8217;s Mate, 2nd Class.\u00a0 Other than during the war, Clyde and Louise made their home in Thorp. \u00a0He served as commander of the American Legion (Cecil Tormey Post 18) in Thorp and Louise served as President of the Legion Women&#8217;s Auxiliary unit. \u00a0Clyde also helped establish the High Ground Memorial near Neillsville in Clark County.<\/p>\n<p>Louise Herman was born March 5, 1911, also in Thorp, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>Clyde and Louise had two sons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thomas John Misfeldt was born April 11, 1946; and,<\/li>\n<li>Terry Charles Misfeldt was born May 22, 1950.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Clyde C. Misfeldt<\/strong> &#8211; January 20, 1916 to January 10, 1997<\/p>\n<p><strong>Louise Herman Misfeldt<\/strong> &#8211; March 5, 1911 to May 22, 1984<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Clyde Chester Misfeldt was the second son of John Regard and Mabel L.
