Ernest and Margaret Misfeldt’s second daughter, Elizabeth Misfeldt<\/b>, was born in June of 1889.\u00a0 She met and later married Richard Strait<\/b> in 1908.\u00a0 According to the 1910 census, Richard and Elizabeth Misfeldt Strait lived with his parents, William<\/b> and Malorina Strait<\/b>, on a farm in the township of Arthur in Chippewa County.\u00a0 Richard had a sister, Kate Strait<\/b>, who was two years younger.<\/p>\n
The Strait’s had two daughters, Evelyn Strait<\/b>, who was born in 1909, but we have few details on her sister.\u00a0 The girls went to live with Ernest and Margaret, their grandparents, in Bloomer, Wisconsin, when Elizabeth passed away in 1921, at the age of 32.\u00a0 She had been a housekeeper and the obituary reported she had been ill.\u00a0 It also reported her age as being approximately 35.\u00a0 Richard had preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
