{"id":28,"date":"2015-05-08T14:16:29","date_gmt":"2015-05-08T14:16:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/misfeldt.com\/?page_id=28"},"modified":"2015-05-14T17:42:05","modified_gmt":"2015-05-14T17:42:05","slug":"henry","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/misfeldt.com\/?page_id=28","title":{"rendered":"Henry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Henry Detloff Misfeldt<\/strong> was the second child, and second son, born to Ernest and Margaret Lensch Misfeldt while they were still living in Germany. \u00a0Henry was born June 5, 1875.<\/p>\n<p>Like his parents, he became a farmer when the family came to Wisconsin. \u00a0Henry married <strong>Anna Josephine Schnoor<\/strong> on October 20, 1901 at Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bloomer, Wisconsin. \u00a0The ceremony pronounced by E. Hafermann was witnessed by Best Man John Misfeldt and Lea Schnoor.<\/p>\n<p>Anna was born January 6, 1879 in Bloomer, Wisconsin. \u00a0Her mother had emigrated from Switzerland and her father from Germany. \u00a0She died of cancer January 26, 1926.<\/p>\n<p>Henry and Anna Schnoor Misfeldt had four children:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gladys Misfeldt was born April 5, 1904;<\/li>\n<li>Doris Misfeldt was born in 1906;<\/li>\n<li>Harold Misfeldt was born January 7, 1908; and<\/li>\n<li>Walter Misfeldt was born in 1912.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Henry later remarried. \u00a0He and Dora Paulson were married December 4, 1930 in St. Paul, Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Henry D. Misfeldt<\/strong> &#8211; June 5, 1875 to December 29, 1950<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Schnoor Misfeldt<\/strong> &#8211; January 6, 1879 to January 26, 1926<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Jim Misfeldt for information about his grandparents, Henry and Anna Schnoor Misfeldt. \u00a0Any additional family information is appreciated.<\/p>\n<p>Walter met and married <b>Pearl Shortluff<\/b>.\u00a0 Pearl was born in Bloomer on December 23, 1911.\u00a0 They had two children:\u00a0 <b>Walter (Buddy) Misfeldt<\/b> was born on September 25, 1934, and passed away on January 4, 2002, in Slinger; and, <b>Janet Misfeldt <\/b>was born in August 1932.\u00a0 Janet met and later married a fellow named Hanson and they have, as cousin James reports, &#8220;a bunch of kids.&#8221;\u00a0 Both Walter and Pearl were killed in the January 1st, 1937, car-train wreck in Bloomer.<\/p>\n<p>Anna died of cancer on January 26, 1926.\u00a0 Henry later re-married <b>Dora Paulson<\/b> on December 4, 1930, in St. Paul, Minnesota.\u00a0 Henry passed away on December 29, 1950, at the age of 75.<\/p>\n<p>Any additional information about Henry and Anna Schnoor Misfeldt and their family is appreciated.\u00a0 Please send to <a href=\"mailto:PackingSteel@gmail.com\">PackingSteel@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Henry Detloff Misfeldt was the second child, and second son, born to Ernest and Margaret Lensch Misfeldt while they were still living in Germany. \u00a0Henry was born June 5, 1875.
